Virtual Coins Terms and Refund Policy

Draft v0.1. These documents are awaiting legal review. Details in square brackets will be completed before launch. The agreement text is currently available in English only.

Effective date: October 1, 2026 · Version: 0.1

These Virtual Coins Terms and Refund Policy ("Coin Terms") apply when you buy or use Wondali Coins. They are part of our Terms of Service. Wondali is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we", "us", "our").

In short: coins are a way to unlock episodes on Wondali. They are not money, they cannot be turned back into cash by you, and you cannot give or sell them to someone else. You can ask for your money back for coins you have not spent within 14 days of buying them.

1. What coins are

1.1 A license, not money. Coins are a virtual item we license to you for use on the Service. They have no cash value, they are not a bank deposit or stored-value account, and they do not earn interest.

1.2 Not transferable. Coins stay in your account. You may not sell, trade, gift or transfer coins, or buy or sell accounts, coins or unlocked content outside the Service. We may cancel coins obtained that way.

1.3 No expiry today. We do not currently expire unused coins. If we ever change this, we will give you advance notice as the law requires, and the change will not apply to coins you bought before the notice.

2. Who can buy

2.1 Account and location. You need a Wondali account and must be signed in to buy coins. Coins are currently sold only to buyers whose payment billing address is in the United States or Canada. If you pay with a billing address in another country, we will refund the payment in full and no coins will be added. Refunds can take 5–10 business days to show on your statement.

2.2 Age. You must be at least 18 to buy coins. If you are 13–17 you may buy coins only with a parent's or guardian's permission and using their payment method, and they are responsible for the purchase.

2.3 Prices. Coins are sold in packs and priced in U.S. dollars: 40 coins for $5, 80 coins for $10 and 160 coins for $20 (1 U.S. dollar = 8 coins). We may change packs and prices; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Where the law requires us to collect sales tax, it is shown at checkout and added to the price. Coins are credited for the pack price only.

3. Buying coins

3.1 Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). Your card details go to Stripe, not to us, and Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to the payment. We receive the result of the payment, the amount, and your billing country.

3.2 When coins arrive. Coins are added to your balance after Stripe confirms your payment. This usually takes seconds. If you were charged and no coins appear after a few minutes, check your wallet page again, then contact support@wondali.com with the date and amount. We will either add the coins or refund you.

3.3 Paying twice. If you are charged twice for the same purchase because of an error, tell us and we will refund the duplicate.

4. Using coins

4.1 Unlocking episodes. You can spend coins to unlock an episode, or, where the creator offers it, to unlock all the remaining episodes of a series that are currently published. The price in coins is set by the creator and shown before you confirm. Unlocking is an individual license to watch that content on the Service; it is not a purchase of the content or of any rights in it.

4.2 Price changes. Creators can change prices. We show the price in coins before you confirm. If the price changes between the time you open the offer and the time you confirm, we do not complete the purchase and ask you to confirm the new price.

4.3 Balance and order of use. Your balance is the coins you have bought and not yet spent. Coins from earlier purchases are used first. We do not charge your card when you unlock; the coins are taken from your balance, and if it is too low we tell you how many more you need.

4.4 Series with later episodes. Unlocking all remaining episodes covers the episodes published when you buy. Episodes the creator adds later are priced separately.

4.5 Your own content. Creators cannot buy their own content.

5. When content changes or goes away

5.1 Availability. An unlock lasts as long as the episode is available on the Service. Creators can unpublish or delete their work, and we may remove content that breaks our rules or the law, or because of a rights claim.

5.2 Technical problems. If you spent coins and the episode did not unlock or could not be played because of a fault on our side, contact support@wondali.com and we will fix it or return the coins.

5.3 Removed content. If content you unlocked is removed, we may, at our discretion, credit coins back to your balance. We are not required to refund coins for content that is no longer available.

6. Refunds

6.1 How to ask. Write to support@wondali.com from the email address on your account, with the date and amount of the purchase. We answer within 5 business days.

6.2 Coins you have not spent. If you ask within 14 days of a purchase, we will refund the part of that purchase whose coins you have not spent, to the card you paid with. We remove those coins from your balance when we refund. If you spent only some of the coins, you are refunded for the rest.

6.3 Coins you have spent. Coins you have already spent to unlock content are not refundable, except when (a) you were charged twice, (b) an unlock failed because of a fault on our side, or (c) the payment was made without your authorization. We handle these requests case by case.

6.4 Refunds you are entitled to by law. Nothing in these Coin Terms limits any refund right you have under the law where you live.

6.5 Refunds and creators. If a refund takes back coins that you had already spent, the earnings the creator received from that spending are reversed in proportion. You will never be asked to pay a creator or us for this.

7. Disputes with your bank and account actions

7.1 Chargebacks. Please contact us before you dispute a payment with your bank; we want to fix it quickly. If you dispute a payment, we may take back the coins from that payment that you have not spent and may suspend purchases while the dispute is open.

7.2 Repeated disputes. If payments from your account are disputed more than once, we may close the account and stop all purchases.

7.3 Account closed for breaking the rules. If we close or suspend your account because you broke our Terms of Service or the law, the coins in it may become unavailable to you or be returned to you, depending on the reason. This does not limit any refund right you have under the law.

7.4 Deleting your account. If you delete your account, any coins left in it are lost. Before deleting, you can ask for a refund of unspent coins within the time in Section 6.2.

8. Fraud and misuse

You may not use stolen or unauthorized payment methods, use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to get coins or unlocks you did not pay for, or use coins to evade our rules. We may cancel coins, reverse unlocks, refuse purchases, or suspend or close accounts for this, and report it as the law allows.

9. Changes and contact

We may change these Coin Terms. For material changes, we will tell you before they take effect and ask you to accept them again before your next purchase. Changes do not affect coins you have already bought except as the law allows.
